I have worked for over 20 years in the water industry. If you didn’t know that water constituted an “industry,” I can assure you that water source privatization, tax-supplied dollars for building and maintaining water treatment infrastructure, and the protection of water quality in our source waters, have all converged to form a thriving industry. It includes equipment manufacturers, governments from the municipal to federal layers, citizen scientists, researchers at universities and agencies like the United States Geological Society and the Bureau of Reclamation.
And it also includes you, as a buyer, seller, owner or realtor.
In the American West water can have a major impact on quality of life and property values. My goal with this set of blogs is to leverage what I’ve learned to help FoCo Free Agent readers when they make decisions.
